Tenant and property data
When property managers use StayCT, the service may process information they enter about tenants, leases, units, payments, maintenance, and related operational records. This data is used to provide the platform features chosen by the account (for example, rent tracking, occupancy, and issue management).
Property managers are responsible for the accuracy of the information they submit and for ensuring they have a lawful basis to collect and upload tenant-related data in line with their own agreements and applicable law.
Contact information
We use contact details you provide (such as name, email address, and phone number) to operate your account, respond to support requests, send service-related notices, and deliver optional notifications you or your organization configure in the product.
WhatsApp notifications
Where enabled by your organization and supported by the product, StayCT may send transactional or operational messages through WhatsApp (for example, rent reminders or service updates). Message types depend on account settings. You can opt out of non-essential WhatsApp messages where the product offers controls, or by contacting your property manager or support@stayct.in for account-level assistance.
We do not sell your personal data
We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal data with third parties for their independent marketing purposes.
Data protection and security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we work to safeguard data in line with the nature of our service.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete certain personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise rights connected to data we hold as a processor on behalf of a property manager, we may need to route your request through that organization.
Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods may vary based on account type and applicable law.
International processing
Our service may be operated from or processed in India and other locations where we or our subprocessors maintain infrastructure. By using StayCT, you acknowledge that data may be processed in these locations as needed to deliver the service.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date above.
